Westlake Village | The Heart and Soul of The Conejo Valley
Built around the lake in the mid 1960s, Westlake Village is known as the heart and soul of the Conejo Valley. It’s safe, the schools are reputable, and the advantages are many. Living by the lake offers privacy without sacrificing accessibility to local shops and dining. What's To Love
We really love the lake. There’s something peaceful about a body of water and we highly recommend the lakeside restaurants. The nearby shopping centers keep the daily stresses at bay – Westlake makes checking all the chores off the list easy. And of course when work is done, grabbing a drink or catching a movie is equally easy.
What's Not To Love
The homes can look their age especially when compared to Southshore’s younger next door neighbor Three Springs. Older often means original so plan on doing some remodeling and updating.

Who Should Look Here
While most similar style homes in this area of Westlake Village are dominated by young families, Southshore Hills is more diverse. It definitely has it’s share of young families, but many retirees and empty nesters call it home too. The distinct look and character of each home offers a nice contrast to some of the other homes in the area. And the views of the lake and proximity to conveniences is a definite draw too.
