I believe that finding the right home starts with finding a community and neighborhood that fits your lifestyle. That’s why I created the Conejo Valley Neighborhood Profiles, to give you a glimpse into each neighborhood so you can find the home you’ll love.
I’ll help you get into the school district you want, near your favorite park or shopping center, and surrounded by like-minded neighbors. Let’s connect and find a neighborhood that feels like home.
Gated: Northgate Townhomes
Northgate is unconventional in comparison to the rest of Westlake Village. The tree lined streets and scattered oak trees give Northgate a very “woodsy” feel. It’s also one of the most affordable gated communities in town. Most of the homes have back patios which is a plush bonus, plus having views of the wash that runs through the neighborhood is a nice treat.
Who Should Look Here
While there’s a bit of a mix of everyone here, it does lean towards an older demographic. The low maintenance yard tends to attract downsizers and those looking for an easier home life. The easy access to The Promenade and North Ranch shopping center is also a definite draw, and the security of a gated community is an added benefit.
What's To Love
The homes are paralleled duplexes rather than stacked meaning they share only one common wall. No shortcomings with location either, Northgate is right up the street from Westlake Promenade and of course central to the rest of Westlake Village.
What's Not To Love
They were built in 1980 so you can probably guess they’re often dated. Some can feel a bit dark inside, but some paint and new flooring can often help.
