If you’re like me, walkability sits at the top of the “want list”. Sometimes you’d just like to be able to walk to get a cup of coffee.

One of the biggest draws to the Conejo Valley is the chance to escape the hustle and bustle of a big city. But, that also means you have to let go of some of the city life you might enjoy – like a quick stroll to the corner market.

There’s good news! Quite a few neighborhoods in Conejo Valley offer tons of walkability.

Here’s are the top 4 neighborhoods in Westlake Village that sit close enough to walk to a nearby store, restaurant, and even winery:

Walk to The Stonehaus from First Neighborhood
  1. First Neighborhood ($800k – $1.2 mil)

First Neighborhood is one of Westlake Village’s most popular neighborhoods. Notable for its location. Its in walking distance from the popular Stonehaus Winery, and the Westlake Plaza – where you’ll find everything from coffee to dinner, as well as a couple of grocery markets and boutiques.

  2. Village Homes ($750k – $1.2 mil)

Village Homes is in quick walking distance to the Westlake Plaza – one of our favorite spots for lunch, dinner, happy hour, and day-to-day necessities. Walk to the bank, grocery store, Starbucks, and a whole bunch more.

The Promenade in Westlake Village. Home to Paul Martin’s and Cinepolis
  3. Renaissance Homes ($650k – $775k)

Renaissance Homes sit right around the corner from both The Shoppes and the Westlake Village Market Place. Walk to lunch or dinner, Target, In n Out, Hook Burger, Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co., 101 North Eatery and Bar, and more.

  4. Westlake Hills ($700k – $1.1 mil)

Bonus points for the park in the center – which remains a neighborhood favorite. Westlake Hills is in a great location for walking to some of Westlake’s favorite spots. Stonefire Grill, Starbucks, Peet’s Coffee, Trader Joe’s, BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, Paul Martin’s American Grill, and then some.
