Wildwood is a section of Thousand Oaks home to a number of different neighborhoods – Wildwood, Wildflower, Parkhills, Cresta Montanosa and a handful of others. Wildwood Regional Park borders the back end of these neighborhoods giving this section of town its name, Wildwood.
Who Should Look Here
Given Wildwood’s level of variety, most shoppers can find a home here. It’s not as close to the center of town as some similar neighborhoods in Thousand Oaks which tends to draw in families with younger kids who appreciate the proximity to nearby parks and elementary schools. Plus the homes leave some space for growth.
What's To Love
Wildwood’s location makes for some pretty spectacular views. The surrounding mountain tops can even be seen driving down the street. For the adventurous and active, the hiking trails are some of the best in the area – Paradise Falls is a locals’ favorite.
What's Not To Love
Though we clump these neighborhoods together, they are not all treated equally. Some of them look a bit dated from the outside and could use some TLC.
