Gated: Lynnmere Estates
Lynnmere Estates is a gated community backed up against the hills of Thousand Oaks. It’s one of the nicest planned communities on this side of the city. The streets are wide and lined with trees and nearby trails. It’s safe and homey with holiday decorations on your neighbor’s door.
Who Should Look Here
Even the most finicky buyer can find happiness in Lynnmere Estates. The neighborhood is built for families so expect your neighbors to have some kids. With the private security gate, open floor plans, and parks and trails close by, it’s an ideal place to raise a family.
What's To Love
The traditional curb appeal is some of the best in Thousand Oaks. The lawns are well maintained and the homes are kept to an even and high standard. Bonus points for the trailhead at the end of Valleyfield and the community park right off the main road.
What's Not To Love
Lynnmere is a little removed from the center of town compared to some of our other favorite Thousand Oaks neighborhoods. Particularly for the homes toward the edge of the community – it can feel like a bit of a stretch to the gate.
