"Simi Valley regularly appears as one of the safest cities in the country."
Located off the 118 and 23 freeway, Simi Valley regularly appears as one of the safest cities in the country. The city offers a wide range of housing choices. In our opinion, the two nicest sections are the Wood Ranch area in West Simi, and the Big Sky/Wildhorse area on the East side of Simi. Both of these areas have newer homes in the hills with beautiful surroundings and stunning views. The Bridle Path neighborhood on the West side of Simi offers horse property with trails and corrals.
What's To Love
More affordable than other areas around the Conejo Valley, the East side is closer to the Valley and Downtown, newer malls and shopping centers have been developed.
What's Not To Love
Some sections (mainly in central Simi) have no HOAs and therefore you’ll notice lots of RVs and boats parked along the streets. Schools can be hit and miss. Some shopping centers need updating.
