Bent Tree Homes Floor Plans
What's To Love
Lots of open floor plans here. Large kitchens that flow into the family room and family friendly layouts that deliver the goods. Indian Springs park (one of my favorites) is just a stone’s throw away and restaurants & shopping options are plentiful. It somehow manages to stay well kept without the usual HOA dues so prevalent in Oak Park.
What's Not To Love
New roofs and other systems of the house (a/c, furnace) are getting to replacement age.

BENT TREE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
That it looks and feels different from a lot of Oak Park.
When people are touring the area, a lot of the neighborhoods start to blend together after a while. Bent Tree tends to stand out. The tree-lined streets, more variety in home styles, mountain views. It’s still very much an Oak Park neighborhood, but it has more character than most.
Generally $1.2M-$1.6M though it’s a smaller neighborhood and sales are limited. Typically just a handful per year. That means the range can move around depending on what’s available and what condition it’s in. The better-condition homes tend to move quickly when they come up.
Not at all. The neighborhood stays well-kept without one, which isn’t always the case when there’s no HOA keeping things consistent. If anything, it’s part of the appeal. You get the feel of a maintained neighborhood without the monthly dues.
The homes were built in the late 80s, and on some of them the bigger-ticket systems are getting close to replacement age including roof, A/C, furnace, windows.
It doesn’t mean every house has an issue, but it’s worth paying attention to during your inspection and factoring into your offer. Don’t stretch your budget so tight that there’s nothing left if something needs to be addressed.
A lot of the demand comes from families with school-age kids. Oak Park Unified is a big draw, and Bent Tree feeds into Red Oak Elementary, Medea Creek Middle, and Oak Park High.
